The Charity also provides respite and holidays for young people and their families at their specially adapted holiday homes along the east coast at Golden Sands, Mablethorpe and at Butlins, Skegness.

Heneage Preceptory 22 November 2023

A great night at Heneage Preceptory of Knights Templar at Grantham which got even better when Eminent Knight Steve Roberts, aka the Intendant-General of the Lincolnshire Division of the Red Cross of Constantine, was presented with a donation of £200 by the Trustees of the Lincolnshire pre-loved Regalia, Ivor Hallam and Mark Driffill.

Along with their wives, Ivor and Mark accept unwanted regalia for all the Masonic Orders which is then sold on after cleaning and any necessary refurbishment - the profits of which are then donated back on an equal share basis to every Masonic Order that operates in the Province of Lincolnshire, which in the case of the Red Cross will be added to the Benevolent Fund.

A definite win-win scenario, not least for those who benefit, be they Masonic or public recipients.

Thanks Bro. Knights for the donation and the service you provide.

Representing the Division of Lincolnshire, members of the Ancaster Conclave recently visited Rainbow Stars in Sleaford to present them with a cheque for £2,500 from the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children Fund, to assist them with their sensory room and for an exciting children’s project to create a new Mosaic for their building.

Charity CEO, Jane Peck, receiving cheque from the R.Ill. Intendant-General, Steve Roberts

The Lincolnshire Division and Ancaster Conclave sincerely thank the Grand Sovereign and the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children’s Fund for this generous donation for the severely disabled children supported by Rainbow Stars.

Many thanks also to Darren Coleman-Heald, the Charities’ Manager at Mark Masons Hall, for facilitating the Cheque Presentation.

Rainbow Stars are an inclusive and friendly community group providing care and support for children with severe disabilities or those seeking a diagnosis. It also supports parents, siblings and carers of the children.

The group recently moved into a shop premises next door to Sleaford Masonic Centre – home of Ancaster Conclave.

Niall Armstrong, the Treasurer of the Masonic Building Company and also the Recorder of Ancaster Conclave, has worked closely with Rainbow Stars and has experienced the incredible work the group does, day in day out. His submission to the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children Fund received support from the Intendant General and the Lincolnshire Division Executive.  The funding will be used exclusively to benefit the children and will include support for their sensory room and a very exciting and ambitious and complex project, which will involve all the children supported by Rainbow Stars, in the design and making of a Large Mosaic.

Working with a local art group, MosArt who specialise in Mosaics a new Mosaic is being created by the children which when completed, will be mounted on an external wall facing a shopping precinct and will be a legacy for all the children involved in its creation.

The Charity CEO, Jane Peck, was thrilled to receive the donation and expressed her delight and gratitude on behalf of the Charity and the children.

Lindum Colonia Conclave - Presentation to LRSN 13 June 2024

The MPS, Kevin Woodman, was pleased to hand over a donation of £250 to the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network saying that the conclave was proud to support the charity as it is recognised that the farmers and their families have problems with anxiety, stress and problems relating to their families and businesses.

Seen here receiving the cheque, Sarah Poucher said: "A huge thank you on behalf of the LRSN for the support. All donations are used to directly support the agricultural and horticultural communities and allied industries in Lincolnshire. Last year we helped 248 families with support, which unfortunately is a 90% increase in the last two years. Any  problem is neither large and small, too complex or simple. We aim to help people make sense of their problems and to give them assistance."

Ancaster Conclave, No. 282 - 50th Anniverary Celebration

Ancaster Conclave celebrated its 50th Anniversary on Friday 26th January, 2024.

Since it was consecrated in the Masonic Rooms, Watergate, Sleaford, on Saturday 19th January, 1974, the Conclave has provided 5 out of the 8 Lincolnshire Division’s Intendants-General and the present and past Intendants-General were very much part of the celebrations.

The Conclave welcomed 20 guests, which included Founder Member and holder of the 50th year Membership Certificate, V.Ill.Kt. Bryan Walter Robinson, P.G.H.Chan., BEM., and the following Intendants-General - R.Ill.Kt. Dr. Alan Beckerton ( Derbyshire Division), R.Ill.Kt. Ralph Everett Hitchin and Immediate Past Intendant-General, R.Ill.Kt. Terence Desmond Ward (Nottinghamshire Division) and our Deputy Intendant-General, Ill.Kt. Raymond Wade, P.G.Chamb.

Before the celebrations commenced, the Conclave installed a new knight, David Alan Williams of Shire Chapter, No. 5610.

During the celebrations of the anniversary, various elements of the Consecration meeting were presented by the Sovereign, M.P.Kt. James McQuade. The origins of the name Ancaster by Ill.Kt. Michael J. Lock, G.Vice-Chamb., and the Consecration Oration was delivered by P.Kt. Christopher G. Jones.

A surprising highlight of the meeting was when the Intendant-General, R.Ill.Kt. Stephen Roberts, presented 40-year Membership Certificates to Past Intendant-General John Raymond William Clements, KCC, and V.Ill.Kt. Victor Barry Topliss, P.G.H.Alm.

A wonderful evening was concluded with a 5-course meal the same that was enjoyed at the Consecration dinner. During the meal, several members of the Conclave presented amusing reminiscences and tributes to members over the 50 years.
