The Intendant-General for Lincolnshire, Rt. Ill. Kt. John Clements and the Lincolnshire Divisional Team attended the 25th. September 2014 Meeting of the Fryston Conclave, No. 366, on a very special day as the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master/Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Graham Ives, was enthroned as the Most Puissant Sovereign of the Conclave.

The Rt. Ill. Intendant-General entered the Conclave in due form and was welcomed by the Acting Most Puissant Sovereign for the evening, P. Kt. Mike Knowles, and offered the baton. The Intendant-General received it with thanks and opened the Conclave. Duty done, he returned the baton to the Sovereign and the ceremony then proceeded with the enthronement of the new Sovereign, Eminent Viceroy, and Officers.

Following a splendid ceremony the Bro. Knights retired for the Festive Board where the usual Masonic Toasts were given. The Intendant-General said that it was a special pleasure to see the Provincial Grand Master/Grand Superintendent enthroned as the Most Puissant Sovereign showing the high regard for the Red Cross of Constantine Order. In his reply the new Most Puissant Sovereign, P. Kt. Graham Ives, remarked that he had been very lucky in Freemasonry and was particularly pleased to be a member of the Red Cross of Constantine an Order which strongly supported the Holy Royal Arch and was enjoying both the Order and the evening. He also gave particular thanks to P. Kt. Mike Knowles who had stood in a the last minute to conduct the ceremony – considered by many as one of the most challenging in Masonry.
