Christmas Message 2023 from the Intendant-General

8th December 2023

Worthy Knights all,

Well, another year has passed us by and as we approach the Christmas period which is so central to our Christian beliefs.

May I take the usual opportunity to wish you and your families, a happy and peaceful time, in the sincere hope that this will continue into the new year and far beyond.

As I mentioned in my address at our recent Divisional meeting, I feel that the Lincolnshire Division has (tentatively) turned the corner, after the trials and tribulations of Covid along with the subsequent consolidation which was necessary in its  aftermath  - I certainly look forward to building upon this feeling with the renewed enthusiasm and continued commitment of you all as we proceed forward.

These qualities have been the highlight for me as I have travelled around our Division during this year, visiting the various Conclaves, which coupled with the warmth and friendship that we have all experienced gives me so much hope and confidence for the future – the dedication and fellowship that we all have been party to at our meetings is so very tangible and heart-warming and I personally and sincerely thank you all for everything that you do for the good of our Order.

Let us not forget however, those who are less fortunate than ourselves and I urge you to continue the tremendous support that you have all showed in the past.

Please keep them in your thoughts and support them where possible in the true spirit of Freemasonry, both practically and emotionally.

I look forward to seeing you all when we resume our meetings – please look after your Craft Lodges and your RA Chapters which are central to our Order and I am sure that the tentative feeling will become a reality.

Once again, Happy Christmas and best wishes to you and your loved ones for the New Year,

Kind regards, in Faith Unity & Zeal
